ACCG Policies
Our policies on Arizona gaming, referrals, treatment and community service are as follows:
  • We are neither Anti nor Pro gambling.
  • We are not in the treatment business.
  • We are strictly a nonprofit and charitable organization with a serious mission of education, awareness and training on issues of problem and compulsive gambling.
  • We estimate that over 1% of Arizona's general population has a significant gambling problem.
  • We provide education to the general public about the seriousness of problem and compulsive gambling in Arizona.
  • We offer a 24-hour 1-800 phone help line for gamblers with problems and their families.
  • We help compulsive gamblers explore out-patient and in-patient treatment options.
The Arizona Council on Compulsive Gambling is a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing education and awareness to all citizens of Arizona.       
  • We educate the private sector, business communities and school systems
  • We are dedicated to early prevention and identification of gambling problems
  • We help the families of compulsive gamblers
  • We provide contacts to Gamblers Anonymous and GamAnon
  • We provide referrals to treatment providers who are certified in problem and compulsive gambling
  • We strive to make Arizona a better place to live and raise our families
